2011 Music Fest - Photo by Chris Maione
Over 750 boats attended the 5th Annual Huntington Lighthouse Music Festival on Saturday, September 3. This is the ONLY Music Festival held on TOP of a working Lighthouse in the middle of the water! The boats started coming on Friday night and by Saturday morning over 50 boats were already anchored in the harbor. The music started at 11:15 with King Wellington and lasted well past Sunset with Pamela Betti rocking the house! This years newcomer, Henry Haid, and Only in America didn’t disappoint and were a FABULOUS addition to the lineup! If you attended the event, email pictures and videos to monica@lighthousemusicfest.com. Photos will be posted here as they come in!
Thanks to all of our sponsors, guests and especially the VOLUNTEERS….if we didn’t have you none of this would be possible! The next Lighthouse Music Fest will be held Labor Day Weekend of 2012 and we will be celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Lighthouse!!
More to come……

The Huntington Lighthouse is the place to be on Labor Day Weekend! Hundreds of boats gather to drop anchor or raft up with friends and listen to the Island’s best talent rock from Noon til Sundown. Calypso, Soca, Reggae, Motown, Classic Rock, Country Rock and Modern Rock are all represented. For the thousands of boaters, kayakers and fans on hand, it is the perfect end to a perfect summer.
We hope you will join in this year by becoming a sponsor, spectator or volunteer! Tell your friends, family…get a group together…we promise it will be an experience you will never forget.
Let it shine, Let it Shine, Let it Shine
